Today I have some updates about the company? Well… first off, we have technically changed our name, but not really. We are now darkTech, not Dark Tech. Some simple capitalization and spacing occurred, and simply, I like it. Fits with our new ideas. Anyway, you can check out the new text logo here. Cool, eh? Also, the new standard font is no longer Trebuchet MS (though it remains my personal favorite), its now Century Gothic. I like the way its smooth yet crisp, and it definitely works in the text logo I just showed you. Cool, eh? Well… I have some other news. I was originally planning on having a black-based website, meaning dark colors, even the background. But I changed that. Now its a white background, but I am keeping the darker colors as well, in things such as headers, etc. Its quite nice if I must say so myself. Usually I like to use as little images as possible in a site, mainly for our friends on dial up… but now that I look at it, people who come to our site (well, the new one at least), will need some sort of high speed connection for our various downloads and such. I may release a limited resource version of the site after the initial release, if I get enough complaints :P. Some more site news though… my friend Marvin Breedvelt as agreed to translate the site into Dutch for me, so a few weeks after launch (mid-October most likely), I will release a Dutch version of the site (located in /nl/) for our Dutch speaking visitors.
