Hello everyone! I would like to spend some time going through some old news I reported a few weeks ago, and update you on whats happening.

Company Renaming – In case you didn’t read this post a few days ago, Dark Tech is now officially spelled darkTech. Difference in speech? None.

New Company Site – I’m done screwing around with this. The new site will be up by October 8th, which is next Monday. I promise you.

WebPak – I have officially signed on 4 exclusive Beta testers outside of the Alpha ones (Alex, Tanner, and Steve). Two of them are web developers, and two of them are software developers. Not bad, eh? These guys will be recieving pretty close to nightly builds starting October 10th. I hope to have most of the bugs (if any) ironed out for a late October release.

Ouni – Ouni is going to come after WebPak as a plugin for it. Once I develop a plugin mechanism for WebPak (most likely 1.1), you can easily install Ouni via that.

Developer Center – The Developer Center will be in a public beta session starting October 10th, 2007 (the day of the Private Beta release of WebPak). You can feel free to read some information on WebPak, as well as edit the wiki with some information.

I also have some new news for you today regarding the site. I have decided to build a brand new Wiki system exclusively for the Developer Center, meaning no MediaWiki, etc. I will add a nice user control panel so people can edit there profiles and such, and yes, you can use your Ouni account for the Wiki/Developer Center on the darkTech site.

Some WebPak news. I developed a new function called connorsblog_imgext today, called the Image Extension function. It draws an image (duh), with a border that fits with the WebPak UI, and also allows you to enter in a caption for the image, displayed slightly under it. Cool, eh?
