Well, now that Safari ditched a good part of my old post, I will just tell you all about the happenings around darkTech and Masked Media. darkTech release is now schedualed for November 3rd, aka next Friday. I had to push it back do to the fact that I wasn’t gonna release it at midnight on a school night, so I pushed it back two days. Thats about it… well… the design looks pretty snazzy, actually. Its running on the Masked Media server right now, mainly because Parasyte hosting is giving me shit about Ruby. Oh well… Masked Media should be ready for a beta next Wedensday (not the 31st, but the 7th). The design is very similar to the Masked Media Community (MMC), which launched yesterday. Check it out at http://forum.maskedmedia.com. It is running on Ruby on Rails as well. Well… I’m off to work on the darkTech design. Later.

I’m telling you… Safari seems to be a usable browser now. Apple finally decided to have an option to disable font smoothing. Before this, Safari was smoothing text over the text I already smooth via ClearType. Also… I finally figured out how to turn on the spelling and grammar check! Maybe you should turn it on by default Apple, that would be smart. I got the latest seed, and I have to say, I may replace Firefox with this. I haven’t really met a page yet that hasn’t rendered weird compared to Firefox. Though I think their is a cookie issue, since my GMC cookie gets deleted every time I leave and come back. Ah well… we came in third place in the MHAL XC championships… out of 13.
Cloggin’ By The Coast

Yes! I can finally tell you guys the official plans for darkTech over the next two months. Truthfully, this is the most excited I have ever been in a long time over anything we have been doing, so lets get right down to it. First off, I told you the darkTech site would be up by September, then October. It’s official: The new darkTech website launches November 1st at 12AM EST. The darkTech web site’s banner will feature the words ‘Meet the Family’, which links two to pages, the ‘People of darkTech’ page, as well as the pages for darkCMS and WebPak. Then, on November 14th at 12AM EST, we launch the new Masked Media website. I am very excited to see how the MM project has turned out. Its been a long haul (since June), but I think we have the resources and content to finally release it. I hope to tell you all some more tomorrow, but for now, I need sleep!
Not Bad For a n00b

Today was the Wallkill Homecoming, and I have to say, pretty awesome. I was like, damn, this is gonna be so boring… I’m such a n00b here. But ya know what? It was pretty fucking awesome. I actually felt like, ya know what, this is where I belong. But yea, if you can’t feel my emotions in this post, I’m not a good blogger. But yea, for once, I have no regrets. Except maybe a small one that really is just make believe. Anyway… today was a dance, but also a date. A date that will symbolize the future for me. 2 Weeks until the Pre-Connor Con spectacular. I cannot wait. Seriously, I am estatic for it. I practiced my dance moves tonight (lol, Rod and Shmit), got some bling on (Boyle and Berg), and pretty much had a good time.
As for me? Well, I might just head off to bed. I don’t really know. I need to save things in my head for later reference. But two weeks is all I have to say. Then some people will know some things about me… and my future.
PS: I have a new development blog at http://www.dark-technology.com/dev/blogs/connor. Check it out.
