Cool, Cool, Cool

So, today was pretty cool. Except for the fact that I originally planned for the cross country bus to the Suffern Invitational to leave at 8am, not 6:15. Luckily, I double checked with people and found out the new time. Good news is I PR’d (Personal Record) in the 5k, at 21:01. 132nd out of who knows. But hey, I keep getting better every race, which is pretty good, is it not?

Anyway, I finally moved my computer upstairs after more than a year. I’ve been delaying to do so for quite some time now, mainly because I didn’t have a desk, but because I really didn’t NEED it in my room. But now that I moved it, I’m quite happy with it. I’m uploading a picture from my crappy cell phone camera, so I will add that into the post if it ever finds its way onto Facebook.

Other than that, no new news to report on most of the fronts. I have been working on some old stuff over the past couple of days, more or less doing so to hone in on my skills. I’ll post some stuff in a few days about what I am working on with projects and such. Anyway, see ya :).

Long Time No Updates

Hello everyone!

It has been three weeks since my last post, and boy have things changed. Well, first off, school started back on the 3rd. I would have done my first day of school teacher roundup, but since I didn’t, I will do it now.

English – Cool but boring as hell class.
Health – Cool, kinda fun.
French – Fun class (not the work, the talking part)
Math – Boring. I fell asleep on the first day.
Chemistry – No feelings either way.
Band – B.O.R.I.N.G
AP US History – Meh.

Good enough for ya? Good. Now, within these three weeks other stuff has happened as well. I got somewhat decent in cross country (24 minutes today at the state championship course down in Long Island), so I hope to catch the number 9 guy this week at Mills Mansion (what I thought was the hardest course ever, now second on my list compared to today’s race). But other than that, cross country is going good.

Now, let’s talk about the blog. It’s great, it really is. But, I want a new theme. Now, I could go out there and find a nice theme, then change it in a month, or I could make my own. I am working on the latter. The new favicon is a hint of the colors I am working with (#006699, #333333, #000000). I don’t know if or when I will finish it, but I am doing a bit here and there in my spare time with it.

Speaking of wish, my spare time is about 1 hour a week. Yea, no lie. By the time I get home from practice at 5PM, I have already been up for almost 12 hours. I am exhausted. Then I have at least an hour of homework to do before I can even consider sleep (which seems to be shorter and shorter each night). It’s really frustrating, it really is.

Other than that, I haven’t done anything interesting lately. I had to reinstall Vista (twice) because I corrupted the boot/partition scheme after I fooled around with installing Windows XP Pro on my external hard drive. Oh well, enough OS experiments for a few months :P. I have also, in my finite spare time, been working on a new User Interface I call Fluid. I don’t have anything to show you, since I kind of lost the file in the mess that is my hard drive backup, but I will show you some stuff in the coming days and weeks. As for my implementation of it, I have no clue. But if I actually manage to make it look nice, than that is a bonus :).

Well, I’ll post again when I get the chance. The next weekend can’t come fast enough -_-.
