In a few hours time I will unveil the first issue of my new magazine entitled “Game Maker Losers”. This issue will focus on, yes, George the Gay Fag. Get ready :).

Frequently Asked BS
Why oh why do I like to do this? It seems as if every day I have posted an article about Go Tech, but frankly, it is so much fun. Really, it seems as if every day this idiot likes to make himself and his company look like some super power, corporate monster mumbo jumbo. The following was taken from the new Go Tech Rating Co. website:
Do we operate the same way as ESRB?
No. We work quite a bit different. We rate the games according to a Christian’s Opinion. And we aren’t trying to make money off of anyone. We have unique rating logos, and service as well. And we are certainly not a replacement for other Rating Networks. But, we are a second choice.
Oh, great. Now I have Christians rating games. Now all we need is a game that says “God Damn” and we will have an Adult Only title on our hands! Honestly, you do know that you just opened yourself up into a whole world of bias attacks. Why? What you said means that you will rate games based on the ideas of a Christian, aka using the bible and the word of God. That sucks. What about Jewish people who want to play games, like Mrs. Jackiwitzky? What about Muslims who want to play your games? Do they need to worry about your biased opinions creeping into game ratings? What about the developers of these games? “Oh great, my game talked about gay people and/or pre-marital sex. Now I am going to get a shit rating!” That was a very idiotic thing to say. But that being said, it wouldn’t be the first time.
How do I find out what the titles are of games GO TECH Rating Network has rated?
Basically, you can’t. You have to use a search engine and search for “GO TECH + thegamename” or “70 Digits + thegamename”. We do keep record, but we don’t make it public.
That is stupid. The ESRB keeps a full list of rated games. Obviously, TIGRS does not, but then again it would be VERY difficult for them to do so. As that page also says, you have rated 11 games. Please tell me the amount of time and energy it would take to compile a list off the 11 rated games with their ratings? Honestly, if you want to act like a God-almighty CEO (quoting you: “I am banning this IP address from your blog so that our staff doesn’t post anything, and waste their time with your baby games.”), then actually make some real life sense, and stop acting like you have a gazillion employees. Grow the fuck up. You are a disgrace to 17 year old professionals.
The creator of IWannaPlay.org, called anonymouss, has asked me to write a review of his website. As such, I obliged. He requested that I didn’t make it too harsh, and if I did, not to publish it. I didn’t send him an answer back. As such, here is my review of iWanna Play.
Design
IWannaPlay.org makes use of several different design ideas that, in some ways, makes certain areas of the site out of place with others. The first thing you will notice when you enter the site is the Windows Vista Aero-like transparency border. This transparency makes it difficult to read the date at the top left hand corner of the area, but it is still visible none the less. The top area also features a text resize set of buttons and a search box. It is my personal opinion that the shadow of these text resize items is a tad too dark of a gray for them. I think they should be a little lighter in color, but hey, that is just me.
The navigation uses Javascript and some nice graphics to create a Flash-like navigation, and is quite pleasing on the eyes. The only real issue I have is that when you hover over an item, the background color changes to a very light blue, almost indistinguishable from the white background color. If a background color should be there, it should be a tad darker, or, as I would like, not there at all.
Other than that the site features a nice array of buttons, including ones on news posts for a PDF version or to email the article to someone. The comments area on articles could use a little bit of work, seeing as though the date text looks very weird inside of the area, and the words on the top of the comments, to navigate the pages of comments, seem scrunched together.
Overall, the website features a nice visual display. Although there are two more themes to choose from, they are very similar in design, and the only major difference is color. That being said, the design is one of the best I have seen from an indie developer.
Content
Although the design is a major issue for sites, content is one of the key reasons why users will come to any site. Do you think the vast number of nVidia graphics card users would go to their site to read about the company? No! They want content such as the latest video cards and the latest drivers.
iWanna Play has a decent amount of content, enough to keep a user on the site, but not enough to keep calling them back. The site features seven articles, most of which are not more than five or six paragraphs. That being said, users do not want to spend all day reading, they want to enjoy themselves. Thankfully, there is an arcade on the site.
The arcade features 39 games in four categories: Adventure, Car, Classic, and Shooting. The games are flashed based, and link up to a standard high score list like most site-based arcade systems. The arcade is essentially embedded within the main website design, which is a plus, but certain icons within the arcade, such as the rating stars and the folder icons, should be changed to fit more with the site. That being said, there is a lot of fun content, but some more articles should be added for more ‘real’ content, if you know what I mean.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the site features a very nice design and a lot of content for a lot of indie web sites. The design has some flaws, but nothing that keeps you from using the site in the least. The written content should be expanded upon, and maybe some more games as well. Maybe the creation of a community would be good as well, to further expand the scope of the website.
My rating: 8/10
I’m sorry that this has to end this way, I really am. When I wrote my original article attacking Go Tech Rating Co. (from here on out, Go Tech), I targeted the creator of the original topic, the Raven, in my post. His idiocracy was to an amazing degree, blatantly lying about his rating system and his company. That night, after my second article about Go Tech, the ‘company’ converged on my blog, and had an all out battle on my comments pages. The result: The CEO known as George James Ray Ortiz was fired by the Chairwoman Anna Shaw, after Steve the Designer and Paul (the Raven) wrote comments describing the situation.
It turns out that my third article, calling Go Tech the definition of fraudulent, opened a whole new can of worms. Five of the original comment posters (excluding Justin, aka anonymouss) posted from the same and or identical IP addresses, which you can see in the data below:
George James Ray Ortiz – 4.246.201.243
Paul aka the Raven – 4.246.201.243
Anna Shaw – 4.246.200.116
Steve (the Designer) – 4.246.200.116
Random guy with the fake email – 4.246.200.116
I grouped them into the two matching IP addresses. As you can see, they all share one of the two, including the Random Spam guy, who called Go Tech ‘not fast enough to keep up’ to my comments, thus calling them stupid and slow.
Now, this all seems like what I have echoed in previous posts, does it not? Well, yes, it does. Except I received PM on the GMC, and an anonymous picture was given to me. On the picture? The one final piece of proof I needed to finally make my point that this Go Tech company is one person. You can find the picture here.
As you can see, this is the real George James Ray Ortiz’s Facebook page. This is funny for one reason: Go Tech’s website is located in his web sites page. He is also listed as the CEO of the company. “But I thought he wasn’t?”
I should have told you this a long time ago. this guy who calls himself George James Ray Ortiz isn’t really George James Ray Ortiz. I won’t tell his real name for safety reasons. the real George James Ray Ortiz is a friend of mine. a close friend.
That quote was made by the supposed Chairwoman of Go Tech, Anna Shaw. Weird, isn’t it? I thought the real George had nothing to do with Go Tech, yet he is calling himself the CEO of Go Tech? So this fake George, the CEO who got fired, also assumed the identity of your good friend? Oh, yea, and a final quote to finish you off, this one made by t3mp3st:
Ultimately, you were an ass with your George account, and now you’re an ass with the Raven one. Unfortunately, some trolls don’t grow up.
As you can see, the Raven, the GMC’s liaison to Go Tech, also had an account called George. So now everyone is George it seems.
George James Ray Ortiz, you are a fraud. You are also 17, so get a life. If you can’t make a respectable company, then at least try not to get yourself tied up with me. I warned you in the GMC that you would be the one to cry, not me. I have just beaten you. Grow up and get a life. Or a girlfriend, whatever seems more important.
